We use Umami, a self-hosted, open-source analytics tool. Umami does not use cookies and does not collect any personally identifiable information. All analytics data is anonymized and stored exclusively on our own servers within the EU.

No data is shared with third-party analytics providers. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in understanding general website traffic (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. This data is used solely to send you the Freelant Weekly newsletter. The legal basis is your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).

You may withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email or by contacting us at hello@freelant.io. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.

Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Our analytics tool (Umami) is cookieless by design. We may set strictly necessary session cookies for core website functionality only.

Data Retention

Newsletter subscriber data is retained for as long as the subscription is active. Upon unsubscription, your email address is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymized analytics data has no retention limit, as it contains no personal data.
